  • Thank you for your feedback Danie. I was thinking about this yesterday and I am glad you mentioned the aperture. I will definately use a slightly different aperture next time. I really appreciate your advice.


    I want to congratulate you on this good head and shoulders portrait. Your settings were spot on and the only advice I could give is that at f/1.8 the DoF was perhaps a bit too shallow and the eyes not as sharp as you would have gotten from f/2.2 - f/2.8. Shooting at f/1.8 you absolutely need to focus accurately. Despite my pixel peeping, this is still a good picture.
